QUESTION:

Retirement calculator

I have used several calculators on the web and your retirement calculator seems to be more optimistic than most. I have read the assumptions and it doesn't seem to be overly optimistic in those. Can you explain why it might be less conservative?

I am very interested in more specific information on your query and what seemed optimistic.

We have actually tried to be more conservative than most as we feel that adequate lifetime income and sufficient insurance are absolutely necessary for a secure retirement.
